Born as a social project in 1999, l’École National de Cirque du Maroc was created in 2009 and teaches the arts of circus to young students amidst the casbah walls of Salé, an ancient city close to the capital Rabat. Originally in partnership with the Academie Fratellini in France, the school is free, lasts a minimum of 3 years and provides the 30 boys and 3 girls with all the professional tools needed to work inside or outside the country. The pictures were taken during a week of their performances at the Festival des Musiques Sacrées in Fes last June.
